2.5 Insurance Requirements

General Insurance Coverage

You are required to carry $1,000,000 General Liability Insurance naming “King of Pops Inc” as an additional insured. Use our corporate headquarters for address if needed - 552 Decatur Street SE Atlanta GA 30312. 

* Some Large Festivals, Venues and Events may require additional insurance. 

Our suggested insurance provider is McGriff, which can be reached at MNguyen@mcgriff.com and TBurge@alfains.com . 

You are required to carry Workers Compensation coverage as required by state law, but with limits of not less than $500,000 per accident, $500,000 per employee and $500,00 per policy.

You are required to carry Business Automobile Liability insurance including owned, leased, non-owned and hired automobiles coverage for vehicles along with any trailers used in the Pop Cart Business in an amount of not less than $1,000,000.

If your Gross Sales meet or exceed $750,000 annually in the prior year, you must also obtain Excess Commercial Umbrella Liability insurance with limits which bring the total of all primary underlying coverages to not less than $1,000,000 total limit of liability.  Such umbrella liability will provide, at a minimum, those coverages and endorsements required in the underlying policies.

It is your responsibility to make sure you have the proper insurance to be operating legally.
