Introduction & Recruiting Team Members

To start with, you may be running things solo or with the help of friends and family. As you grow your business, you’ll need to add employees in order to achieve your goals. 

When this happens it is important that they are representing you and the company in a positive way.

 

We’ve found that the best employees are those that are familiar and love King of Pops already. For this reason, social media is a great place to look for talent. 

Beyond that, college job boards are a great place to find staff over the summer. Or try simply asking your favorite barista, dog walker or neighborhood teenager if they’re interested. 

The job has very flexible hours and a great first job. 

Once hired, it is your responsibility to research, follow, and process all onboarding regulations required by local, state, and federal laws. This can include but is not limited to:

  • I-9 form and identification documents
  • Background checks
  • W4 document
  • Payroll documentation
  • E-verify
