Training Team Members

Below is a non exhaustive list of things to cover. Each Franchisee will have different specifics that they’ll need to go over with their employees. It is very important to do this with consistency. 

  • Where to park
  • Clocking In & Out
  • Reading their shift notes
  • Packing your cart
  • Loading and unloading your cart from the vehicle.
  • Writing your chalkboard
  • Where to place your chalkboard in relation to the cart & why
  • Setting up your Rainbow Umbrella
  • Paper towels on the umbrella and offering them to customers
  • Bracing the cart so it doesn’t tip back
  • Turning on the tablet, logging into POS System, processing a cash, credit and mobile phone transaction.
  • Keeping pops frozen
  • Handling dry ice
  • How to communicate when you need more pops
  • What to do if you need to use the restroom or take a break

After going through their Shadow Shift, team members should be given a Training Passport to complete. Once they’ve completed this we consider them “fully onboarded.”
