Using HubSpot Notes and Tasks

  • Franchisees may use the Tasks feature to prompt themselves to follow up with a customer, move a deal, or remind themselves of another activity related to a specific deal by using the Tasks feature
  • From the deal record, Tasks can be created by clicking on the Task icon under pipeline at the top of the left sidebar
    • A box will pop up, allowing the franchisee to name the task, schedule when they will get notified about the task, choose what the task should be (to-do, email or call) and provide any other notes they have about the task they are creating
    • Hubspot will send an internal notification when the time and date of the scheduled task has arrived
  • Franchisees may also use the notes function on a deal record to write down any additional information they need in reference to a deal
    • Notes appear in the center activity section of the deal record
    • Franchisees can click the note icon on the left sidebar near the top, or on the Note button at the top center of a deal record to log a note about the deal
